DiJon "DJ" Jones

DiJon “DJ” Jones is a public safety, homeland security, and business leader with more than 30 years of experience supporting and operating within multibillion-dollar organizations, advancing law enforcement training, institutional reform, and mission execution across domestic and international environments.

As Founder and President of 701C LLC, DJ leads a mission-focused firm that delivers public safety, mission support, expeditionary, and contested support services, as well as training solutions, in complex and contested environments. Under his leadership, 701C has rapidly expanded its capabilities, partnerships, and geographic reach across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the Caribbean, and Central and South America, while securing and positioning for major U.S. Government contracts supporting defense, the Department of State, and international programs.

Throughout his career, DJ has driven organizational growth, expanded capabilities, and entered new markets aligned to evolving federal and international requirements. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the IACP IMPACT Section and previously supported U.S. Department of State and Department of Justice initiatives, including service as a Civilian Police Advisor in Iraq. Earlier in his career, he served as a federal law enforcement commander and major crimes detective.

DJ holds a Master of Science in Integrated Homeland Security Policy and brings a practitioner-informed, globally focused perspective to advancing public safety and security sector capabilities.
